Tom Dixon’s Jack Portable Lamp is a bold, multifunctional light inspired by tetrapods—those rugged concrete coastal defenses built to break waves. Originally roto-molded using a homemade six-part tool assembled from modified metal bowls, Jack began as one of Dixon’s earliest experiments with rotational molding and now returns reimagined for the great outdoors. Manufactured through industrial air rotation-molding, Jack is cordless, rechargeable, and completely waterproof, made to move effortlessly from patio to living room. Stackable and sittable as well as portable, it works as an illuminating object and a sculptural accent. A three-button remote lets you pair and control up to three Jack lights from a distance, while replaceable light sources and batteries are designed for long-term use—extending lifespan and reducing waste.
