This deluxe reissue of The Prints of Paul Klee portfolio is limited to just 2,000 numbered copies. Originally printed in 1947, this third revised edition contains 40 high-quality prints of Klee’s etchings and lithographs in MoMA’s collection, as well as a 40-page brochure with an essay by James Thrall Soby, Chairman of Painting and Sculpture at the time of the original publication. An 8-page insert contains an introduction by Christophe Cherix, Chief Curator of Prints and Illustrated Books at the Museum, and sheds light on the portfolio’s influence and legacy. 40 pp.; 40 illus.
