A Danish design icon that combines chic simplicity with function.
Originally designed in 1963 by renowned Danish architect Finn Juhl, the FJ Elements Lamp is distinguished by clean, geometric lines and simplicity. This table version of the famous lamp is made to live anywhere in your home, from nightstands to book shelves. Crafted in Denmark from deep-drawn aluminum, steel and die-cast aluminum, the FJ Elements Table Lamp provides downward directed light and includes a diffuser to provide pleasant glare-free illumination. The lamp features a unique two-part shade system: By rotating the lower shade around the upper shade, the direction of the light can be adjusted. Additionally, an opening between the upper shade and the housing allows for subtle upward illumination. Both Finn Juhl and the lamp’s manufacturer, Louis Poulsen, are represented in MoMA’s collection.
