Katsumi Komagata’s works were represented in the 2012 MoMA exhibition Century of the Child: Growing by Design, 1900–2000. The Birds in Harmony Mobile is produced by Djeco, a company known for their mobiles that provide visual stimulation for kids, and also for a design aesthetic not often found in the decor of a children’s room.
