Nelson™ Ball Bubble Pendant from Herman Miller

Part of George Nelson’ series of innovatively designed, organically shaped hanging pendant lamps, the Nelson™ Ball Bubble Pendant was inspired by a set of Swedish silk-covered lamps that Nelson wanted to install in his design office. By replacing the silk covering with an innovative, transparent plastic resin, Nelson was able to construct an entire series of more affordable lamps with lightweight steel frames in cheerful, elemental shapes.

The gorgeously simple curves of the Nelson™ Ball Bubble Pendant will provide a source of soft, radiant light to warm your home or office. The Nelson™ Ball Bubble Pendant includes a ceiling plate of brushed, nickel-plated steel and a 10-foot cord, is UL listed, and fits a standard size bulb up to 150 watts (not included). The George Nelson™ Ball Bubble Pendant is available in sizes S (12h x 12.75”w), M (15.5h x 19”w) and L (23.5h x 26.75”w). Installation required. George Nelson has work in MoMA’s collection.
