Nelson™ Crisscross Pear Bubble Pendant from Herman Miller

With curves that mimic its namesake fruit, the Nelson™ Crisscross Pear Bubble Pendant gets an additional accent from the intersecting steel rods that flare out at its midsection. Designed by George Nelson as a more affordable option than the silk-covered Swedish hanging lamps he wanted for his office, the Nelson™ Crisscross Pear Bubble Pendant, like all the lamps in this series, is composed of a lightweight frame tightly covered by a transparent plastic resin.

Whether floating above your home entrance, living area, dining area or office, this pendant lamp provides a soft, luminous, even light. It includes a ceiling plate of brushed, nickel-plated steel and a 6-foot cord, is UL listed, and fits a standard size bulb up to 150 watts (not included). The Nelson™ Crisscross Pear Bubble Pendant is available in sizes S (12.5h x 13”w) and M (19h x 17”w). Installation required. George Nelson has work in MoMA’s collection.
