The 9093 Kettle is distinguished by its contrast of materials—mirror-polished stainless steel and a blue plastic handle—rivet details near the bottom and, of course, the iconic bird-shaped whistle that sings when your water has reached a boil. For this kettle, Graves employed his Postmodernist visual language: the design combines influences from European and American Pop art, and pre-Columbian cultures.
