Alejandro Otero Recycled Polyester Colorhythm Scarf

This scarf features a reproduction of Alejandro Otero’s Colorhythm, 1 (1955), an artwork in MoMA’s collection. Otero was a Venezulean artist who was a central figure in Latin American abstraction.  His Colorhythm series is an in-depth exploration of abstract motifs, balancing repetition with irregularity, color, and shape. In this work, the artist creates a dynamic composition from two basic elements: brightly colored shapes and alternating light and dark bands. The Alejandro Otero Colorhythm scarf is made from polyester, 50% of which is recycled, and measures 72.5l x 17.5″w.
