Empire State Building Print

This print features a reproduction of Alejandro Merizalde’s photograph of the Empire State Building. The 102-story skyscraper was built in 1931 as the US was descending into the depths of the Depression. It was finished at a frantic pace (four and a half stories were completed per week) with the aspiration to become to be the tallest building in the world, a record it held until 1972.
